| How To Add Regular Venue Events To Lemonrock | |
Q1. What are regular events?
A. Although Lemonrock is primarily a live music site, many of the venues on Lemonrock don't have live music every day of the week. Our regular events section allows venues such as pubs, bars, restaurants and clubs to show what's on during every day of the week - like drink or food promotions, sports events, etc.
Q2. What are the benefits of having a regular events section?
A. Anyone browsing Lemonrock can see what's on at your venue, every day of the week. If they are not in the mood for live music, maybe one of your other regular events will be of interest to them.
Q3. What types of event can I list?
A. You can list most types of other event, such as TV sports, games, food and drink promotions, quiz nights, film nights, singles nights, etc. You can write a short description about each regular event. You can also write a little bit of information about your events in general.
Q4. How do I add my regular events?
A. You must be a Venue or Band/Artist member, and be logged in to Lemonrock. Click on your 'my venue events' section in your edit page, then click on the 'Create new venue events' button to create the regular events section.
Q5. Can I simply add my live music events to the regular events section?
A. Yes, but they won't show in the main gig guide, so unless people are looking for your venue specifically, they won't find out about your live music.
Q6. How often can I update my regular events?
A. As often as you like - in fact, we encourage you to keep this section up-to-date.
Q7. Can I put on a one-off event in the regular events section?
A. No - this would be misleading. Please only promote events that happen every week.
Q8. My regular events stop for a few weeks from time to time. Can I still add the event to the regular events section?
A. If you have a period when the regular event takes a break - for example, over a holiday period, we ask that you change the regular event to 'no regular event' for that period, so as not to give out inaccurate information.
Q9. Will my regular events show up in your gig guide?
A. No. If any of your regular events are music-related, you will also have to add them to your 'my gigs' section, and mark them as regular gigs, in order for them to be included in our gig listings.
Q10. I want to add all our regular events to Lemonrock, but we don't have any live music at the moment. Is that ok?
A. Yes, that's fine.
Q11. The event I want to add is not in the list. Can you add it to the list specially for me?
A. Please contact us and we'll consider it.
Q12. Will my regular events also be listed on your mobile guide?
A. Yes - if you add regular events to your venue page, they will also show up in our mobile guide on your page, but not in the main gig listings.
