The Ploughmen[Skiffle, 9 piece]
|
Get the Flash Player to see these images.
Eccentric 9-piece skiffle/bluegrass/rock & roll/rockgrass collective. An esoteric line-up, featuring guitars, banjos, saxophone, mandolin, drums, percussion, slap bass and vocal meanderings. All styles of popular music desecrated. Not for the faint-hearted.
The range of musical genres covered is wide, and unsuspecting audiences have been exposed to skiffle, Irish and cockney pub songs, rock & roll, bluegrass, rock, reggae and ska, jazz, rockabilly, blues and folk songs - seemingly without rhyme or reason.
A popular and refreshing alternative to bog-standard pub rock.
